Dobbs Ferry police officers said a final goodbye Wednesday to a colleague who stunned the department by taking his own life.
Police say Officer Rick White, who was also a business owner and volunteer firefighter, shot and killed himself April 10.
Friends and family gathered at Pompei Church to recall the many acts of public service that White took part in.
