Getting around the Hudson Valley wasn't easy today after a winter storm dumped up to 26 inches of snow on the region.
Driving was treacherous this morning as many side streets weren't yet plowed, and many that were cleared were coated with black ice.
Metro-North operated on a reduced schedule today. Train riders should also expect delays on NJ Transit trains.
Bee-Line Bus in Westchester experienced delays, while TAPPAN ZEExpress (TZx) bus service and Transport of Rockland (TOR) had limited service.
Many flights were canceled at the Westchester County Airport in Harrison today. LaGuardia, JFK and Newark airports also had canceled hundreds of flights. Airline officials recommended that people check with their carriers when heading out the door.
