Deer rescued from Chestnut Ridge pool

Police, along with the South Spring Valley Fire Department, used ladders to successfully remove the animal from the Chestnut Ridge home.

Humans weren’t the only ones seeking relief from the Hudson Valley heat over the holiday weekend.
A deer had to be rescued from a swimming pool in Rockland County Sunday morning.
Police, along with the South Spring Valley Fire Department, used ladders to successfully remove the animal from the Chestnut Ridge home.
The deer was released and apparently uninjured.
