A deck filled with dozens of partygoers suddenly collapsed Wednesday night in Monsey.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Sam Law Drive.
Officials say a sukkah -- a temporary hut constructed for the weeklong Jewish feast of Sukkot -- was set up on the porch, packed with 30 people. They say both the sukkah and porch collapsed.
News 12 is told that six people were taken to Nyack Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Neighbors say the huts can be dangerous on porches, especially when there are too many people inside. They say a similar incident happened down the street a few years ago that resulted in serious injuries.
