The father of an 11-year-old Yonkers boy says a school bus driver dropped off his son at the wrong stop Thursday, forcing him to find his way home in the dark.
Michael Coleman says he went to pick up his son, Michael Coleman Jr., on Saw Mill River Road, but when the bus pulled up, his son wasn't on it.
Coleman later discovered that the bus driver dropped off his son on Lockwood Avenue, a mile and a half from where his father was waiting for him and three miles from home.
According to Yonkers School District officials, students in grades three and up disembark without supervision.
