The Swagga Jumpers in Crown Heights are double-dutching their way to the top.
The team announced they will be going to the American Double Dutch League’s World Championship Tournament in June. Their coach tells News 12 they just won the state championship, and now they’re preparing to take on the world.
“This is something that you don't quit. You know, it’s something that you’re just pretty passionate about. And to stick with it, you know, it's changed their lives,” said Kyiasha Maxmacarthy, who also goes by “Coach K.”
Coach K tells News 12 her goal is to bring back as many world championships for every age group in the competition.
