First responders rescued a dog trapped in a drain pipe this afternoon.

First responders rescued a dog trapped in a drain pipe this afternoon.
Thornwood firefighters, along with the Westchester County Technical Rescue Team, Pleasantville Ambulance, Mount Pleasant Medics and Mount Pleasant Highway Department, worked for 3½ hours to reach the dog, named Rex.
The team had to dig 15 feet to reach Rex.
Rex was safely removed from the storm drain pipe and was reunited with his owners.
