10h agoNews 12 got a first look at what will soon be officially known as West Nyack Hamlet Green and Firefighter Memorial Park.
It will include sculptures of Thomas and Daniel Foley, who were FDNY firefighters. Thomas died on 9/11. Daniel died years later from a 9/11-related illness.
Also immortalized in the park is a replica helmet of former West Nyack Fire Chief Kenneth Matero.
The event begins Sunday, Sept. 10 at noon.
