Coyote spotted in Throgs Neck cemetery
A coyote was spotted at Throgs Neck cemetery Monday.
Workers at Saint Raymond's Cemetery say they saw the animal running around the tombstones.
One cemetery worker told News 12 that the cemetery is the coyote's home. He says he has seen the wild animal running through the tombstones multiple times since last week.
"I just think they need to take care of that because what if somebody is trying to visit somebody they lost and a coyote just comes out of nowhere and takes a chunk out of them," said one concerned resident.
Cemetery workers called police to catch the coyote, but it was still there a day later.
