The parents accused of leaving their two toddlers home alone appeared in Yonkers City Court Monday. Police say on March 30 they responded to a Yonkers home around 9:30 p.m. after a security alarm went off and found the couple?s two boys home alone. When the parents retuned at 1:30 a.m. they told police they were out buying medicine for one child that was sick. Both the husband and wife plead not guilty and their lawyer is hoping to have the charges against them thrown out. The case will go before a judge again in May and at that time the couple does not have to appear in court. The family has since moved to Massachusetts.
