A Westchester County police officer was hospitalized after he was struck by a car going the wrong way in Yonkers.
According to county police, it happened on the Cross County Parkway eastbound by Central Avenue.
The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, who stayed at the scene, was also hospitalized.
It’s not known how the driver ended up going the wrong way.
