From New Rochelle to Yorktown, it's hard to miss President Donald Trump's footprint in Westchester County.

The Trump name is on various buildings and parks across Westchester County - could his name be removed from the properties?

New Rochelle resident Daylana Green says the name doesn't carry the prestige it once did.

"I do think they should consider changing the name, in my opinion. They should just take it down," she says.

Others like Tiffany Cocozza, who lives in a condo at Trump Plaza, say it's just a name - nothing more.

"I can't understand why people can't just disassociate like a president with his business," she says.

Trump Plaza isn't owned by the Trump organization, but it does manage the building and have a licensing agreement to name it.

It's the same situation for Trump Tower in White Plains and the Trump Park Residences in Yorktown. That means removing the name would come at the will of the residents.

Over in Briarcliff Manor, the Trump National Golf Club Westchester is owned by the Trump Organization. So that name won't change.

Green says she's happy to learn New York City is canceling its contracts with the president following last week's insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, but others say targeting the president's business interests are a step too far.

While there has been no comment from the president on this, his son, Eric Trump, told the Associated Press that New York City's move is an example of the left's "cancel culture."
