A judge has ruled that a 71-year-old Army veteran and farmer arrested for selling corn along what officials say is a dangerous stretch of Route 32 can continue to do business at the location.
Martin Sauer says he's been selling produce from his Orange County farm for more than 20 years at the same place.
But the town supervisor says authorities warned Sauer to stop going to the area, which is near a commuter parking lot and also the scene of two deadly car accidents.
Authorities say they warned him to move, but he refused. So they arrested him last month.
"If I don't have this, they are putting me out of business," Sauer says. "I need the money from the road."
He says he will return to Route 32 Saturday, but he also has to return to court next week to answer questions about his business license.
