Police in Irvington are searching for the person who sent sexually explicit, anonymous letters to several women during the Valentine?s Day weekend.
Authorities say the typewritten letters were directly addressed to at least eight different women and have a White Plains return address. Police say the women began to receive the letters Feb. 13.
During their investigation, police say they will try to determine if the women know each other or are connected in any way. Police say the letters were postmarked in Garden City on Long Island.
According to records, several women received similar letters from the same White Plains return address in January of 2008.
If arrested, the suspect could face aggravated harassment charges.
