Cops investigating outdoor bank robbery in Elmsford
Police are investigating an armed bank robbery in Elmsford with a unique twist. Cops say the robbery took place outside the Hudson Valley Bank on East Main Street. They say the victim was carrying a large sum of cash when he was targeted in the parking lot. Police say the victim is a Westchester business owner who was carrying up to $10,000 when he was approached by two men. Cops say they believe the assailants may have known the victim was going to be there with the large amount of cash.Surveillance tapes from the area are currently being reviewed by police for possible clues in the case.
