Congers Fire Department officially opens new firehouse

The Congers Fire Department held ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Saturday for its new firehouse.

The Congers Fire Department held ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Saturday for its new firehouse.
Officials say the new building was needed because the old one was built almost 100 years ago and became outdated.
The new fire station is located on North Route 9W just down the road from the old firehouse.
