Con Edison says that 2,900 field workers from 20 states and Canada have been working around the clock to restore power to customers who have been without electricity due to the recent nor’easters.

Some areas, including seven homes on Ridge Court in Yorktown Heights, have been without power since March 2.

High winds knocked a tree into a utility pole knocking out power 10 days ago. Residents say that since then, Con Edison has done little to nothing to fix the power problem.

"They are constantly assessing the situation, I don't know how much more assessing can be done here,” says resident Brian Rooney.

Yorktown Heights resident Jim Ford says they can’t get Con Ed to confirm what the issue is.

The problem is that the source of the power outage is still unknown because the utility lines there are buried.

Con Ed did confirm Sunday that crews are working toward turning on the lights for customers who remain in the dark.
