Lasdon Park in Katonah is one of many parks Westchester officials say will be open this weekend. There is a monument at the park where people can honor veterans.
The state is allowing ceremonies to be held this weekend, as long as there are no more than 10 people present.
Westchester's director of tourism and film, Natasha Captuo says restaurants will be offering curbside pickup, which will be great for a picnic along the Hudson River.
The beaches at Rye Playland and at Croton Point Park will also be open for Westchester residents Friday through Monday starting at 10 a.m. Officials say they'll admit up to 50% capacity and concession stands will be closed.
