Residents in northern Westchester who were hit hard by the recent nor’easters are preparing for another storm.
Turco’s grocery store in Yorktown was busy Tuesday with people stocking up on food ahead of Wednesday's storm.
Heavy, wet snow from back-to-back nor’easters brought down hundreds of trees and power lines, which left tens of thousands of Yorktown residents in the dark for days.
NYSEG brought crews from out of state to help get the lights back on, but residents said the utility could have done a much better job getting the lights back on more quickly.

Officials from both NYSEG and Con Edison defended their responses to the nor'easters in a meeting with Westchester County legislators Monday.
