The wet weather didn't stop thousands of people from turning out for the annual New Castle Memorial Day parade in Chappaqua.
Despite a persistent rain, the bands played on, re-enactors from the American Revolution performed and thousands lined the streets of Chappaqua to cheer and wave American flags.
The Northern Westchester tradition brought out popular Chappaqua residents, including former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.
The political power couple have been marching in their hometown Memorial Day parade for more than a decade.
"For me, it's very personal because my father fought in WWII and four of my high school classmates died in Vietnam," Bill Clinton says.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo marched alongside the Clintons. Many pundits believe he'll likely throw his hat in the ring in a race for the White House in three years.
Cuomo wouldn't say if he'll run for president in 2020, but did say he is definitely running for re-election as governor of New York next year.
"I hope people support me for governor next year," he says. "Otherwise, the only people who say I should run for president are the people who want to get me out of New York State."
