Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton won the Democratic presidential primary Tuesday.
Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, voted at Grafflin Elementary School in Chappaqua earlier in the day.
"It feels great and I'm so excited about both campaigning here in New York, voting here in New York," Clinton said. "I love New York. This has been a joy during the last two weeks to be here all over the state."
Clinton represented New York for eight years in the United States Senate.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo was out on the campaign trail stumping for votes for Clinton Monday and cast his ballot at the Mount Kisco Presbyterian Church on Millwood Road.
Clinton hosted an election night event at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, while her opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, went to Pennsylvania to prepare for the next Super Tuesday primary on April 26.
