Clinton pulls off comeback in New Hampshire
Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign is back on track Wednesday and looking forward to the next round of primaries after an unexpected victory in New Hampshire.
The candidate from Chappaqua proved the polls wrong by defeating Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, who came in second. It took time for all the returns to come in, but the strong support gave Clinton's campaign new energy.
?Now together let's give America the kind of comeback that New Hampshire has just given me,? said Clinton.
The win on the GOP side also belonged to another come-from-behind candidate, John McCain. After his fourth-place finish in New Hampshire, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) is now counting on a political comeback of his own in other states.
All the candidates are hoping to do well on Feb. 5, known as Super Tuesday, when many states will simultaneously hold their primary elections.
