One town in Rockland County honored those who have served our country on Wednesday.

Local leaders in Clarkstown served breakfast to veterans at their annual appreciation ceremony. A local choir also provided entertainment.

This is the event's second year and leaders hope for many more. "It's an opportunity for the town of Clarkstown to say thank you for all those who served in the military or whatever war they served in," says Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann.

Over 175 veterans took part in the event.
