CityMD Urgent Care apologizes for saying a positive test means you are immune to coronavirus

Public health experts have said a positive result does not necessarily mean a patient has long term immunity.

CityMD Urgent Care is apologizing after telling patients that a positive result on their COVID-19 antibody test meant that they were now immune to the virus.
Public health experts have said a positive result does not necessarily mean a patient has long term immunity.
In a statement CityMD said, in part, "We were concerned that the portal message might create some confusion for our patients, so we decided to remove that language from the portal message. We have contacted all affected patients and apologize for the confusion."
CityMD has six locations in the Hudson Valley.
