Many Westchester residents headed to church to celebrate Easter.
Easter services were held at Trinity Episcopal Church on South Highland Avenue in Ossining. Reverend Charles Pridemore leads the congregation every Sunday. He says that Holy Week is the moment when people reflect and ask themselves if they?ve done what is needed to be worthy and to be ready to stand with God.
Passages from the bible were read to the congregants as they prayed and reflected on the meaning of Easter and their place in the world. Pridemore says the holiday is a reminder that eternal things should be treasured most.
