A chimney fire damaged a home in Irvington over the weekend
Officials say the flames broke out Sunday afternoon on Blueberry Hill Road.
Firefighters say the fire caused damage to the living room and the bathroom in the master bedroom.

They say it was difficult to knock down the fire because of the location of the house.  "The challenges are the terrain of the location. The building is located about 50-70 feet above grade from the street so our firefighters had to stretch hose up the hill to make an initial attack but did so effectively and efficiently," says Irvington Fire Chief Anthony Tarricone.
No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
