Check your freezers: Certain chicken nuggets recalled for possible wood contamination

Perdue Foods, LLC is recalling over 68,000 pounds of chicken nuggets after company officials say the food may be contaminated with pieces of wood.

Perdue Foods, LLC is recalling over 68,000 pounds of chicken nuggets after company officials say the food may be contaminated with pieces of wood.
According to the company, three consumer complaints were filed about it.
The recalled food is gluten-free and has an expiration date of Oct. 25, 2019.
The product bears the establishment number “P-33944” inside the USDA mark of inspection and were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
There have been no reports of any illnesses from the contamination.
