Charges have been dropped against a Harlem teen in a fatal subway stabbing case that occurred last summer, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
Kelvin Martinez, 15, was charged with manslaughter in connection to the death of 14-year-old Ethan Reyes, who was found dead with a stab wound to the stomach in a Harlem train platform.
Police say the two boys were part of rival gangs.
Martinez’s attorney argued that his client was defending himself, which prosecutors say they could not disprove.
