A new report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that more than 3 million Americans suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome.
The study found that 1.3% of adults in the U.S. had chronic fatigue syndrome between 2021 and 2022.
The findings place a sharp focus on the disease and further suggest that far more people suffer from chronic fatigue than originally thought. Researchers also note that the numbers may present an undercount.
