Bodycam footage from a police officer caught the moments when a stuck deer was rescued from an iron gate in Bedford

Police say they received a call around 10:30 a.m. Sunday about a deer stuck in between two wrought iron gate railings located on Sarles Street.

Officer John Moylan and the male who called to report the incident were able to free the deer with the use of a hydraulic spreader.

Thanks to their efforts, the deer ran off seemingly uninjured.
