Cat left for dead finds forever home in Briarcliff
After being turned over to a vet, Dr. Jed Moyner says Topaz needed her tail to be removed.

A special adoption took place Monday for a rescue cat named Topaz in Briarcliff.
Officers recently got a call of a wounded cat near a pizza place in the area. After being turned over to a vet, Dr. Jed Moyner says Topaz needed her tail to be removed.
After surviving the harrowing experience, News 12 is happy to report little Topaz finally found her forever home. "I have to say that having animals in the house brings a different energy to the house and I’m looking forward to bringing her home," says David Morrison, who has adopted Topaz.
News 12 is told Topaz is expected to live a healthy life.
