Cases of an inflammatory disease in children, likely linked to COVID-19, are increasing across the region.
There are now at least 93 cases of Pediatric Multi-System Inflammatory Syndrome in New York.
And it's showing up in other states. According to NBC, New Jersey is investigating eight possible cases and there are at least three in Connecticut.
Several young people have died from the syndrome, including an 8-year-old boy from Elmsford.
Health experts say it can cause inflamed muscles and breathing problems.
