12h agoUtility crews were on scene fixing downed poles after an accident Wednesday night in Yonkers.
Police say a SUV struck a pole on Odell Avenue in front of Cross Hill Academy around 11:30 last night.
That pole snapped and took down another pole across the street.
More than 180 customers were without power due to the incident.
Odell Avenue was closed west of Clover Street so Con Edison crews could work to replace those broken poles.
There is no word yet about charges against the driver.
