Car accident in Croton claims teen's life, three others hospitalized
A car accident in Croton-On-Hudson claimed a teenager?s life and landed three others in the hospital Friday night.
Police say a car carrying four Ossining male teenagers was traveling northbound on Route 9 near the Croton Point Avenue exit. Investigators say the 17-year-old driver appears to have lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the road, hit a tree and ended up in a ditch.
All four were taken to area hospitals, where 16-year-old Noah Woodley-Aitchison died from his injuries Saturday. The other teens? injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Police believe rain and heavy fog may have been a factor in the accident and are still investigating.
