A Long Island-based business is expanding into Westchester and getting a makeover!
Spectrum Designs Foundation, which employs adults with autism to make custom clothes, gourmet treats and promotional items for clients, is coming to Tompkins Road in Pleasantville.
Before it opens, a team of about 20 volunteers from Emory University's Real Estate Networking Group are helping the new location get a fresh new look. "I found out about Spectrum and really thought it was a fantastic organization that we should volunteer for and be a part of," says volunteer Keith Walker.
A "hard hat party" on Jan. 9 will kick off plans to open the new location.
