The upcoming NFL Draft will be more like a huddle in the basement of the commissioner's Bronxville home.
The 2020 NFL Draft was supposed to be held in Las Vegas, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, things will operate on a digital basis this year.
Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the first-round picks Thursday from his Bronxville home.
Yonkers native and Stepinac High School standout Gavin Heslop will be watching intently over the coming days.
"I'm praying I hear my name get called, but if not, I'm going to have the same mentality, my draft as a free agent will come about," says Heslop.
Even with the virtual draft, Goodell will not be able to escape the annual tradition of being booed. Bud Light launched a campaign urging fans to record themselves booing with the hashtag #BooTheCommish.
The draft starts Thursday and will run through Saturday.
