Bronx kids are battling over who will be the ultimate Yu-Gi-Oh champion.
While some call Yu-Gi-Oh a sport, some say it is just a fun game to play.
The event is the Bronx's first-ever regional Yu-Gi-Oh tournament.
Teachers say the best part of the game is that kids do not realize how much they are learning. They say the game induces reading comprehension, cognitive thinking and various forms of mathematics.
Yu-Gi-Oh experts say the game is similar to chess, in that you always have to think a move ahead.
Experts say the game has a large following and even though it seems confusing to some, it plays a big part in a child's imagination.
