Congressmember Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, of the Bronx, is currently under investigation by the House Ethics Committee.

The committee will announce its course of action after its organizational meeting, which will happen sometime in 2023. Details about what the investigation is looking into haven't been released.

A spokesperson for AOC said in a statement, "The congresswoman has always taken ethics incredibly seriously, refusing any donations from lobbyists, corporations, or other special interests. We are confident that this matter will be dismissed."
