? Many Bronx high school seniors are donning caps and gowns and deciding whether their next step will include college.
Bronx Community College admissions officials say it?s an important decision. They say a college diploma can serve as a gateway to financial stability and is much more than a piece of paper. Jobs in nursing and radiology can start at $60,000 annually. The admissions office says school is affordable, with a semester costing around $1,400. About 70 percent of CUNY students receive financial aid.
The school is holding its next open house on July 11.
