Members of the Bridgeport Red Cross put out the call for volunteers to help with Hurricane Michael.
While volunteers at the Bridgeport office are still helping victims of Hurricane Florence, another storm is on its way.
The call for help went out to volunteers like Mark Roselle to see who can go south for at least 15 days on short notice. Roselle says having two storms in a row means the organization has to dig deeper for donations.
"I think that is always a concern," says Roselle. "People tend to donate when the first one happens, then when the third one happens they are out of resources. Regardless, there is a tremendous need out there and we need to figure out how to get those people the resources they need."
Roselle says while Hurricane Florence made more headlines, he expects the need for help will be just as great with this storm.
