Village leaders are upset about what they say are unapproved changes at the Trump National golf course in Briarcliff Manor. News 12 Westchester caught up with the course owner Donald Trump on the links. Trump says he has a great relationship with the town, including the town manager. He says he is confident that it will all work out. At issue, residents say, are changes to the 12th hole. They say the town approved cutting down trees to widen the fairway, but the town did not approve the addition of a tee box to lengthen the same hole. At a recent planning board meeting, Trump says he reassured village officials the changes will not be an eyesore and that any changes made to the golf course will be nothing but positive news for the people living near it. The case is now pending in Briarcliff Manor village court.
