Bomb threats don't halt classes at West Nyack school
Classes are taking place as scheduled Friday at a West Nyack middle school despite two bomb threats.Officials say the threats were found in two boys' bathrooms at the Felix Festa Middle School. According to officials, the first threat was found Tuesday and said a bomb would go off Friday. The second threat, officials say, was found Thursday.Bomb-sniffing dogs were sweeping the school Friday to make sure it is safe for students. The county's bomb squad and two dogs were also at the building Thursday and did not find anything suspicious.As a precaution, school officials say they locked down the building after dismissal Thursday and cancelled all after-school and evening activities.
