Students at Hastings Middle/High School had a scary start to their school day Wednesday due to a bomb threat.

School officials say a note threatening to blow up the school was found around 7:30 a.m. outside a faculty room. Students coming to school were immediately ushered onto Reynolds Field while police combed the building.

Police did not find anything and students were allowed back into the building around 10 a.m.
