A bomb scare forced the evacuation of two schools in Rye today.
Hundreds of students at the Rye Middle and High schools were forced out of classes after officials initiated emergency procedures around 9:30 a.m.
Students were evacuated to nearby elementary schools while police searched and cleared the buildings.
Both schools reopened shortly after 11:15 a.m.
