Boiler problems have left some Yonkers families without heat for days and is putting them in jeopardy of being evicted.

Stephanie Rosales was one of several tenants at 116 School St. who is in jeopardy of spending Thanksgiving homeless because the boiler in their building is broken.

She and her neighbors demanded answers at the Yonkers Department of Housing and Buildings. The commissioner of Building and Housing says the landlord already faces several violations related to the boiler.

The landlord attempted to make a temporary fix, but the repair attempts failed. News 12 was told that the landlord will continue his efforts Wednesday.
