The body of a Poughkeepsie man who drowned while rescuing another man in the Hudson River has been recovered.
Poughkeepsie police say a body pulled from the water this week was identified as Paul Moschitta.
The 49-year-old went missing on July 24.
Officials say Moschitta saw another swimmer in distress and tried to help him but the current pulled him in.
