The body and car of a man missing for 12 years was recovered last month from the Hudson River.
Rohan Brown was set to begin his senior year at University of Albany, on his way to achieving his dream of becoming a lawyer.
He was reportedly last seen Aug. 8, 2008 during a routine traffic stop in New Paltz.
Authorities now say they pulled his body and his car out of the water in Poughkeepsie last month.

His friend Shamecca Allah started a GoFundMe page, which will help his mother pay for independent investigators to look into her only child's death and give him a proper memorial.

"He can rest in peace now. We just want to get to the bottom of everything that happened to him," she says.
News 12 was told there will be another candlelight memorial for Brown on Aug. 29 near the Poughkeepsie ice house where he was found.
