The drowning death of Yonkers man has been ruled an accident.
Police say Rufus Barr, 53, was with a friend on a row boat in the New Croton Reservoir when it capsized earlier this month. Barr drowned, but the friend survived.
New Castle police say a seat became dislodged, which likely caused the boat to flip over.
Barr was a longtime custodian at Riverside High School in Yonkers.
