The board approved the new hotel to set up shop in the Yorktown Heights business corridor.
The Gardena Hotel will be a three-story, 18-room hotel on the corner of Veterans Road and Commerce Street.
A boutique hotel is a small, luxury hotel with no more than 25 rooms and offers unique accommodations.
It will feature a café, a rooftop bar and grill, and off-street parking.
