With less than 100 days until the presidential election, presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden says he will be choosing his running mate next week.

The former vice president made those comments during a news conference in Delaware yesterday.

Biden did not indicate whether he would publicly announce his selection, though he will likely do so before the Democratic National Convention kicks off on Aug. 17.

Biden has said in the past that he will choose a female running mate.
